Literally a snakebird copy https://noumenongames.itch.io/snakebird
Ooze Odyssey is obviously inspired by Snakebird, with a couple distinctions. I think there's enough room for both games 🤷
What are the distinctions? From what is shown in the screenshots and dev posts, it looks like a direct clone of Snakebird but with fewer gameplay features (no multi-snake levels or pushable blocks) and worse level design.
I'm not going to touch some superficial differences (skins, level editor), so here's a difference in mechanics: in Snakebird, you can't move if your head touches the tail. Here, you can freely move in a circular fashion (like in classic Snake), which is integral to solving quite a few levels.
No need to be so toxic man, it's an indie game for a small price. Get lost.
Snakebird regularly goes on sale for the same price or lower than this one, and is better in most ways. I feel bad for anyone who picked up this game not knowing about the better option available.
It's inspired by snakebird, what about people that like SB and want more of it? It's not all about prices and sales, gamer.
Neat little game, worth well over its price tag
