Really cool! I know it’s meant for mobile, but it would be great to have a PC version too. The chessboard feels a bit oversized, and the palette version is a bit flashy — though I totally get the creative direction behind it. Overall, the design is awesome. Major kudos to the level designer — my brain feels way more awake after playing this!
This was such a fun play through. Finished the whole thing and had a very fun time then entire time. I play chess, so this was super dope, just had a perfect ratio of new mechanics, paired with letting you learn the mechanic fully. My only feedback is that the colored pieces flashing white confused the heck out of me. I didn't realize red pieces flashing white, was not in fact a white piece, and could still capture white pieces. Would help new players a lot if it was one solid color, thanks so much!!!
This game is actually really fun! That last level was challenging; it felt like I had so many options, and all of them failed in some way or another, but I was able to figure it out on my own! No guide! It's nice playing a challenging game that doesn't feel impossible to beat, so long as I put in some actual effort to solve the puzzles

I'm ten levels in and I feel like the main game is watching confetti and watching bars fill up, and watching congratulations messages slide in. In between I get to do a quick chess puzzle.

Cool game. The dark pieces are not very visible on dark squares. It would be better if the dark pieces have light borders.
Awesome game! Only had time for level 38, but up to then I enjoyed it. The cutscenes are giving me major Blumgi Castle vibes.
Also kinda wish you could choose whether or not to equip the new color pallette.

Confetti, loading bars, etc. are all a remnant from this project being initially intended for a casual game platform.
When I release a full version on Steam, I will include options to modify the experience.

i was able to complete puzzle 1 to 19 very quickly, so the time i had to wait between each puzzle was far too much

My hint: black bishop moves two times in a row.
Hints (in order of increasing hintyness):
- The sticky square must be the end square, since there are no self-destructing pieces
- There is a diamond of pieces on the F2, F6, E4, and G4 squares; it's hard for a piece to enter that diamond and make it out alive.
- The end square is a knight's move away from the top of the diamond.
