I had a great time with this! The humor and style was a charming experience, and like some comments down the list I'd be down for an expansion of this if it was ever made. (maybe he invades other kingdoms to gain a following before taking over?)
The only problem I found is that you can just farm a bunch of coins then upgrade the enemies and you don't really need to strategize, but otherwise a great game!
It'd be cool to see more of this! There's a lot of really good stuff going on. I like that you tied the ability progression to the distance traveled, as opposed to time or anything, which works really well with the upgrade system. It makes upgrading a basic troop useful for simply traveling more distance, even if you knew they wouldn't be able to actually make it across. On top of that with your own monsters dropping coins, it really well designed.
Using multiple spawn points to adjust for the cool-down so you can double up the same type of troop is a design thing you had in there too that I really liked.
this would be an amazing game if it got expanded like having both styles of gameplay leading an undead army to invade other castles and also guarding your own castle from enemies

That was incredible! Loved the comedy, but I find the ability to lvl them up to be too easy, maybe a lvl cap or you can only spawn so many?
