soft locked myself into this level T_T

You can reset de level. You need first take the employer on the right, then you move the box for the left of the elevator.

(+1)

such a cool game

(+2)

When they said "BLA BLA" I really felt like their words were green blobs chasing me

(+18)(-5)

as a communist I can say. this is an accurate depiction of revolution.

(+4)(-40)

No a more accurate depiction would be mass genocide

(+3)(-38)

Do not forget the mass concentration camps, theft of technology, and destruction of culture.

(+2)(-25)

They'll think it's okay as long as they get to do it.

(+1)(-30)

Its typical communism.  It sucks for everyone.

(2 edits) (+7)(-1)

looks like the liberals found this game lmao

(inb4 "NOO IM NOT A LIBERAL! I'M [some flavor of liberalism]")

(+5)

he said communism not imperialism

(+3)

fun way to tell you've been fed up with bullshit about proletariat regimes

(-16)

You know who else has had enough with regimes? The Chinese under communism

(1 edit) (+8)

sure... china was really happy and prosperous when it was ocupied by foreign countries like england... i miss these old days damn communism...

(+1)(-1)

same lol

(+4)

Nice game

(+3)(-1)

Эта игра веселая! Спасибо разработчикам Labor Power!

(+3)(-1)

(+3)

fun game

(+1)

funny game

It was funny.

Really fun!

fun game !!!

(+22)

suggestion!: when you do the full game you could have real-life statistics and news headlines of actual companies violating workers rights in the "loading screens", that way, if anyone just plays the game as a joke, they will be passively shown real life examples of injustice and hopefully help bring their awareness a tad forward, or give them receipts if they want to prove something to their friends? also, it'd be sick if you used real life unionizing tricks as inspiration for some game mechanics. like maybe you could do something like a "combo strike" where your characters come together to pool their power in some way, and their collective power saps some money from a manager's pocket, and the manager's money=their health bar? that'd be kinda sick... just some small ideas to ruminate on

(+2)(-1)

you need to put a tutorial

i just started to click at the final boss

(-1)

same, i don't know how to complete the ending

(+1)

just click

(-1)

i am clicking on the bosses but it doesn't seem to work

(1 edit) (+8)

I think this game has potential, if you make it into a full game, then here's some suggestions: procedurally generated floors with doors to seperate the different parts of it. More worker types with passive abilities or abilities you can use in battle, such as some buff guy who blocks projectiles but can't be thrown, or a caffeine addict who drops coffee every 45 seconds. a checklist or smth to tell you what you need to do to get to the next room. A skill tree to upgrade yourself and your coworkers. split-screen or online co-op. more bosses. multiple difficulties with altered versions of the bosses to go with it. multiple different paths with different rewards (idk what the rewards would be) power-ups, like a caffeine-shot coffee. different enemy types with abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. and finally, a customizable protagonist with different hair, skin, and outfits.

and before you say "bro thinks i'm gonna read all that" just tell me a full version of this game wouldn't include at least SOME of these features.

if you made it this far thx for reading and goodbye!

(+11)

Thanks for the ideas! I did indeed plan to include more enemies, worker types, and even character customization. Sadly, this was a game jam project, so my time with it was limited.

I will get back to it, along with some of my other projects, and expand on it.

(+1)

thanks! I'm glad you read my comment, even if you don't get around to adding more features.

i really loved this game, i finished it and had fun. Its a good game :D

(+1)

i got stuck on some floor because i pushed the box into the employee and i cant pull it back. 9/10

You can always reload a level by pressing R :)

(+1)

Seems like a good game! I enjoyed it really much.

I really enjoyed this. I wish it weren't so linear but I guess with floors of a building and programming an open world being way more complicated, it's excellent for what it is

(+2)

Reminds me a lot of the Love Me! game series I used to play as a kid. Super fun to play <3

(+2)

Super fun theme and story! And it feels really polished :)
While are decent, they arn't put together in the most challenging way.
Overall I had fun playing it (especially reading the elevator screens), I just think the level design and mechanics could use a bit of work to make it more fun.  OFC for a game jam this is super great, so awesome job!

beat the boss in like, 5 seconds? i spamed only on him lol

A great bite-sized adventure. I love how you "incorporated" the power theme!

I really love the art for this game. The level design is a bit lacking though.

(+2)

Not me replaying it so I can try the other ending lo

like it but i want to download it

Loved it

Excellent game! I really like the art style.

It is cautivating, but in my first try it bugged on the first boss, after I got defeated, I couldn't open the door again...

(+1)(-1)

Really nice idea. The art is great. Got stuck on the first hacking level. There is really no indication of what to do. I stood in front of the terminal that was there and hit space. Then randomly tried some other places and just stopped. But the idea is solid.

Same here

Great game, I love the pikmin inspiration & art style! the best part is the elevator messages! The game lags a bit when you push boxes but otherwise it's amazing and I'd love to see this become a full game!

(+1)

I absolutely love the presentation on this one.  The characters are so cute!  The loading tips are fantastic too.   I kinda lost track of the managers when attacking them but everything else was smooth otherwise.  Fantastic job

Made a video

I managed to get through the entire game without taking any damage. Excellent delivery, I look forward to a full version. With more enemies and complications in the scenarios.

Played the game twice to get both endings. I enjoyed the game and definitely would say to make a full length version. I love the concept. I would note it doesn't run well via the itch client but way better on an actual web browser. It actually doubled the performance

Fun game and story! Would love to see a longer version with more challenging puzzles.

(+1)(-2)

couldn't click agree fast enough

You're the first person I know of who got that ending. Nice!

The ol' bootlicker ending!

(-2)

You don't have a dad
