that's a very fun game, and I got the ending where you turn back to the throne (which I think is the good ending? I don't know what different endings are there), but I got a few problems as I was playing.

the first is the difficulty in activating skills, there are so many skills and buttons you need to keep track of and it's kinda distracting. would be great if there's an upgrade that lets you toggle which skill auto activate and which are manually used.

the 2nd is a bug with the 666 demons slain sound effect. for some reason it keeps repeating over and over and over again every frame and I don't know why it keeps doing it. it only stops when the boss is dead. (Speaking of the boss, the first time it spawn it seem to take 0 damage, that or my equipment isn't strong enough, but I almost bought all the upgrade at that point.)

and the 3rd is the lack of blue orb (I believe that's exp?). at the end I'm lacking a ton of blue orb to upgrade the rest of the upgrade, instead I have an abundance of coins that I don't know what else to use them for. I think the resource requirement/payout need a rebalance.

I wasn't even able to play because the mouse was lagging behind my actual movements by several seconds, even just on the title screen, and trying to fix the game just crashed it completely.

The game seems fun, but also seems to be either horribly unoptimised to the point not even my fairly chunky PC can run it, or unable to play nice with Firefox for very long... and I can't even test the latter because there's no non-browser version of the game, and I'm sure you can understand that downloading a brand new browser like chrome just to play one game is a little overkill.

There are too many abilities and not enough fingers. I generally just spammed arrows and sword. Using spells was never worth it because they are not stronger than physical attacks and mana runs out quickly since the looting does not grab potions and there are too many enemies to go collect them.

Great game, but Baphomet has a glitch where it plays its voice cue over and over again really quickly

why does full screen just not let you move the character? other than that good game

Nice little game, unfortunately after a certain floor the game lags and eventually freeze. To me was around floor 14. Too many things happening? Smells like memory leakage. Anyway, is a solid 4 for me.

Nice game. The "skill" screen is frustrating for a couple of reasons. Clicking anywhere buys the currently-focused skill; it shouldn't, and ideally clicking elsewhere should deselect the skill. Also, the game doesn't properly hijack scrolling. When I scroll out to see more of the skill tree, I simultaneously scroll down the webpage. This especially sucks because the fullscreen option doesn't work, so there's no workaround.

Oof the game is flickering too much to play. Firefox, Mac

Hmm, this is valid feedback, but I do wonder why the fullscreen button isn’t working for you. Something for me to look into, I guess!

good diabloish game. needs a save feature, other than that my suggestion is new game plus by diabloish difficulties like normal, nightmare and hell

Great ideas! My initial plan was to also include quests and elite enemies.

I can really see the shelldiver influences in the upgrade tree.

Positives:
1. I really like the way the timer leads into each run. It's very visually pleasing.
2. I like the 'random encounter' stuff after missions.
3. I think the logo looks great, has a nice visual style

Improvement areas:
1. The upgrade tooltips should disappear when you're not mousing over them. Currently the last moused-over stays up, which sometimes blocks other UI elements (e.g., "Dungeon").

2. Related to the above, I have multiple times bought an upgrade I didn't want because I used LMB to pan up the screen instead of RMB, and instead of panning, it simply bought the currently focused upgrade.

3. The music volume differential between upgrade screen and in-game is stark, If you turn the volume to what makes the upgrade screen music audible, the UI sounds are way too loud, and vice versa

4. As far as I could tell there was no penalty for dying before the end of the run, the presence of this can add some stakes. Currently the only thing that happens is you finish the run early as far as I can tell.

5. The fact that the velocity of the sword swipe projectile does not depend on your direction of movement heavily overincentivises kiting the mobs because your slash travels 2x as deep into a crowd if you're going backwards, and conversely, if you are travelling forwards it doesn't travel far enough forwards for you to not get hit. Not sure if this was intentional or not.

6. It took way too long to realise the class upgrades don't do anything besides opening more upgrades. I spent so long looking for a way to switch classes.

----
Closing statement:
I played for about 15 minutes before bouncing off of it primarily due to how ineffectual the attacks felt despite the mobs getting stronger and more plentiful the more upgrades I got. It felt like reverse power creep.

I have no clue how long it takes to make a game, and if this was your 1st or your 50th. 2 weeks sounds like hardly any time at all, so given that I'd say this is a good early effort. I hope you choose to work on and improve it rather than just moving on to the next project, as I think with some balancing tweaks and UI improvements it could be a fun game!

That’s why I love the community here, the feedback is super valuable. Thank you so much for all the suggestions!

I won! It was fun :)

My main 'do not like': The auto-select nearest upgrade. I'm used to being able to use left click to drag around. So there was a lot of "Oops! I wanted to look over here but instead I upgraded... uh, something?"

More general: It uses this upgrade map/system that EVERY game seems to have nowadays.  So I wouldn't gripe specifically at this game for that. But Request to All Devs: Please stop using that. It's a generally bad upgrade system. It very rarely makes sense for a given game. Players - ME anyway - don't like having to upgrade stuff they're not interested in, just to get to what they want. Or worse, just to find out if there's something they need.

Hey, thanks for the feedback! My next incremental game will be even better for sure.

Sometimes the boss endlessly stacks his "you will die" line.

Guess he really wants the player to die, lol. Thanks, I’ll look into it.
